How do they work?
Collagen Stimulators are made with a biocompatible, biodegradable, synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen.
On average, three injection appointments are needed over a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.
What should I expect?
On the day of your treatment, your face may appear a little fuller. This fullness will diminish over the first forty-eight hours, as the liquid is absorbed, leaving the PLLA molecules to start working. Over the next four to six weeks, the collagen levels will be stimulated, and the results gradually appearing.
